An Initiative Measure
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title
This measure shall be known as the “Smoke-Free Arizona Act.”
Section 2. Findings and Declaration of Purpose
WHEREAS, an estimated 3,000 lung cancer deaths and more than 35,000 coronary heart disease deaths occur annually among adult nonsmokers in the United States as a result of exposure to secondhand smoke.
